Adding Colour to the Adopting Virtues Event

April is often the start of the summer blaze in Singapore and it was heart-warming to see that in spite the heat, Hope for Animals' Adopting Virtues event on Sunday, 3rd of April saw a fantastic turn-out from both dog lovers and dogs.

Hosted by Singapore's popular comedian Kumar, the event saw more than 900-1000 animal lovers come by Ang Mo Kio Park to show their solidarity and support for animals in need.

Loyal.D, a partner at this event, hosted it's third successful Painting with Pooches fund-raiser and the concept once again saw some very creative art created by dog lovers and some pawsome dogs.

The event raised more than S$6000 (which has been split among all the shelters) and there have been more than 60-70 registration of interest for the dogs up for adoption.

The event venue was sourced and sponsored by Mr Chee Hong Tat, Minister of State and MP of Bishan-Toa Payoh and during his speech the Minister mentioned he grew up with a Singapore special - we hope more people are inspired to adopt a dog after hearing that!
